I have a decade of experience as an educator and an early childhood business owner, so I know how it feels to want (and need) a stunning website, but not having the time or energy to make it happen.

  • You’re ready to take the first step, great! When you choose a plan you will be prompted to answer some introductory questions and schedule a 30-minute connection call with me.

    During this call we will discuss:

    • The type of business you have and where you are at on your entrepreneurial journey.

    • What you are looking for in a website.

    • Any questions you have about the process of working with me.

    After our call, I will develop and share your project proposal which outlines what’s included in your chosen plan, the timeline and the payment schedule.

    You can choose to approve the proposal or request modifications. If we both come to agreement on the proposal then we move on to officially working together!

  • Once you’ve accepted the proposal you will be prompted to:

    1. Sign a contract for the agreed upon terms

    2. Pay a 25% deposit

    3. Book a 90-minute strategy call with me

    4. Complete a design brief to the best of your ability

    During the strategy call we will discuss:

    • What you are looking for in the website’s design.

    • Choosing the right Squarespace package for your business.

    • Assets that you have and/or need (e.g. logo, copy, photography).

    • What colors, style and typography you like.

    • Who your audience is.

    • Who your competitors are.

    • Any questions you have about the design process.

    During this call we will be developing a mood board and filling in the remaining sections of your design brief. Then, we move on to the design phase.

  • I begin the design process by creating a sitemap and designing an initial home page.

    During this time we will also work together to gather all necessary assets including:

    • Website copy

    • Logo (typeface can be used instead)

    • Photography

    • Color palette

    • Typography

    • Social links

    • Integration links

    • Any other documents you want uploaded

    If you do not have some of these assets, don’t fret! I am happy to assist you with locating free and/or paid (by you) stock photography and typography options during the design process. I also offer copyediting for an additional fee.

    Once I have all of your assets, the clock starts! I will design the first draft of your website homepage and provide it to you for approval within five business days.

    Once you receive the first draft, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback for the first round of revisions.

  • During the web design process there will be three opportunities for revisions.

    The Homepage Revision

    • This is when changes are made to the first homepage design so we can create a style for the rest of the website.

    The Major Revision

    • This is when any major changes to website layout, style, colors, typography, forms, and integrations take place.

    The Minor Revision

    • This is when any minor changes to photos, shapes, and minor copy edits take place.

    Additional revisions can be purchased for $175 each.

  • Assets are uploaded, design revisions are complete, buttons are functional and you are completely satisfied with your website. It’s time to launch!

    Once I receive final payment, you will be granted owner access to the website and it will be live to the public. You will also be granted full copyright ownership of the final design.

    Once your site goes live, you will have between 7-21 days of email customer support, depending on the plan you’ve chosen. I will also share Squarespace resources to help you manage the back end.

    If after launch you decide that you want further assistance with managing your website, you can purchase a monthly website maintenance package where I make updates and edits for you on a recurring basis.

FAQ

  • The quoted prices include the design work that I complete for you and any added features mentioned in the plan description.

    They do not include:

    • Domain name fees or transfers

    • Your Squarespace website subscription

    • Plug-in subscriptions like Acuity Scheduling

    • Commercial license fees for typography or photography

    • Fees to hire outside specialists e.g. copywriters or photographers

    I offer clients the option to add-on specific services that are not included in their chosen plan e.g. additional web pages, revisions, or logo variations. These add-ons result in an additional charge that would be shared with you in your project proposal.

  • To become a Squarespace Circle Member a designer must have created or contributed to at least 3 Squarespace websites within the last year. By being a member I am able to pass along benefits to my clients including:

    • 20% discount on your new subscriptions including: Squarespace annual website, Email Campaigns, and Acuity Scheduling

    • Extended 60-day Squarespace free trial

    In order to receive these benefits, I will need to start your trials with my account. If you start your own accounts, I will not be able to backdate the discounts.

  • At this time I work exclusively with Squarespace. I’ve made this decision because I believe their user interface produces high-quality websites that are easy to learn and manage.

  • When working together, there will be multiple opportunities for you to share feedback on the progress of your work. Every project I work on includes 3 revisions, a home page revision, a major revision and a minor revision.

    During this time I will make modifications and adjust the design to your liking. If after your included revisions you still want to make adjustments, you are able to purchase an additional revision for $175.

    If during any time you choose to end our contract together, you will only be responsible for payment of work already completed. This option does not result in a final deliverable or copyright ownership.
